Three cheers for the amazing Pat and Mike as they complete phase two of their 2015 AT hike. Phase one occurred during the winter months as they hiked all of Pennsylvania, much of New Jersey and half of Virginia. Phase three will begin at the end of the summer as they hike south from Maine.
Yesterday they checked in from Hawskbill Trailhead which was the culmination point. They got a real campsite in a real campground, proceeded to eat and, in an odd choice of activities, go for a hike.

They are now on their way home to Mt. Gretna, compliments of Carolyn. I assume they will be up at dawn hiking before they realize they don't
have to do that tomorrow!!
